Dave the Pumpkin is ready for Halloween and excited about sharing his chocolatey treats... 🕸🕷👻 To our Living Well Alone community, please remember to put yourself and your safety first today - if you feel comfortable answering the door to trick or treaters and want have some fun then go for it! Can be a lovely way to meet your neighbours and their kids. If you don't feel comfortable then please don't feel you have to! There are other ways to get involved - you could leave a pumpkin and a bowl of sweets on the doorstep, for example, or a spooky sign in the window saying to knock three times for sweets to start appearing through the letterbox...you could even leave a sign on the door saying not to knock or you'll wake a terrifying giant who'll eat you all for tea... #halloween #pumpkin #treats #candy #trickortreat #safetyfirst #livingwellalone
Sooooooooo excited about these GORGEOUS pre-made meals from @allplants, which arrived about 15 minutes ago. Bright, beautiful, (mostly) recyclable packaging, really healthy, and most importantly, generous helpings! J and I used to get a batch of 2 person meals each month, and I was worried that the one person meals might be a bit on the stingy side (a lot of companies just don't put enough damn FOOD into one person ready meals, why???) However the one person meals look as generous as the two person ones, and I can't wait to get eating - well done @allplants! These meal boxes are a bit of an indulgence for me, and I don't get them every month any more - however they freeze really well, and - on nights when I get home late from work and don't have the energy to cook - it's really nice having something healthy to throw in the oven. Plus it feels like someone's made you dinner! 🤣 This particular brand is vegan (my preference for low cal) however loads of other companies offer similar products.
